In 2015, our first encounter with Slovenia left an indelible mark on our hearts, sparking the idea of crafting something special in Bohinj. However, the decision wasn't straightforward – with the prospect of a second immigration and the added consideration of our children, caution was paramount. It took time; multiple visits allowed us to delve deeper into Slovenia, paving the way for the final decision.
Finally, in 2019, we secured the ideal spot for our boutique apart hotel hideaway. By late 2021, the project received the green light, and in August 2022, the groundwork began. Since opening in July 2024, Vila Nina Bohinj has welcomed guests seeking a peaceful boutique stay in the heart of the Julian Alps. This is more than just an apartment house - it is a locally created project shaped by our family and inspired by the natural beauty of Lake Bohinj.
